Well, it looks like the blog runs. If you got here it means you know who I am so there won't be any presentations here. And if you don't either you come from the future and I'm somehow a popular and filthy rich blogger —and then I don't care about you probably— or you are just randomly searchig stuff on the web. Anyway, it's the second day of August of 2010. That means I'm just a month from travelling to my next destination, Bonn. And by the way today is my birthday too.

This site has a simple —and probably futurelly unfulfilled— goal; I want to remember all the fun and interesting stuff I expect to happen next year and the best way of doing this is just writting it down. And, as I'm a bit of a freak, of course I had to write a custom python script for publishing everything here. And that's what I'm doing here basically.

Because the point is not keeping track of everything I'll do. Actually I find the idea of someone just disclosing everythig he does —v.g. twitter + take a shit— disturbing. What I want to do is gather those bits of information you really want to remember and share with your friends years after they happened.

I don't know if I'm going to achieve anything useful with this blog but maybe it's the right time to try. Finally I've got a reason to create some original content and I'm just going to take advantage of that.

I expect the next few posts to deal about that huge pile of documentation, luggage and general preparation stuff I have in front of me. Or at least that's my initial project. Because maybe this is the not only the first but the last post too. Who knows. Time will tell.
